Joshua Brandt/Teaching

Joshua believes we were all created by God. This drives him to help people find who it was God had in mind when he breathed his life-breath into each of us.  He hopes people will find more about themselves and God when they become part of gathering.  He knows he has.

Joshua has been married to Laura for over a decade (it sounds cooler that way doesn’t it?). They have three daughters who keep them hopeful about the future of the world. Joshua loves reading, his xbox 360 (too much) and Muncie. Oh, and he thinks the world would be a more interesting place if vampires were real.

Jennifer Stanley/Worship

Jennifer Stanley is a wife, mother, worship leader, and Bible study leader. With much to balance and deep passion for all the roles she plays, Jennifer relies on worship to keep her going. “Whenever I have felt alone, overwhelmed, or tired, I go to worship to regain my stamina and press on.” It was during one of those exhausting and painful seasons of her life in 2006 that she realized her deep desire to become a full time worship leader. “All of a sudden, I couldn’t imagine doing anything except leading people in worship. It was as if I had won the lottery. I could not have wanted anything more. I knew God had opened the next chapter of my life and I was anxious to jump in.” And so she did. Jennifer has been leading worship at the Gathering since September of 2006. She also travels to conferences and retreats leading others in worship whenever and wherever she has the chance.

Jennifer grew up in Muncie, went on to Butler University to earn a degree in Music Education. After graduating from Butler, she worked in musical theatre, the cruise line industry, and traveled extensively as a Christian recording artist. She is married to Casey, and they have two beautiful children. She is working on a live worship CD and hopes to have it finished by the end of the year.

Chris Sherck/Children

Chris has been married for 8 years to his wife Rachel and they have 2 kids, Malachi and Ruth. While Chris, an Indiana University fan and his wife, a University of Illinois fan, are at odds when it comes to supporting sports teams, they do share a love for the Indianapolis colts and the sport of volleyball. More importantly than that, they share an understanding of how valuable children and families are. Chris is driven in his work because of his desire to children and their families become who God created them to be.

David Hasenmyer/Youth

David oversees Organic, plays acoustic guitar and speaks from time to time.
