Is it true? The world is vast and we are learning that the universe is ever-expanding. Could it be possible? Does the God of everything know… me?
Even more remarkable is the possibility that he has a design for my life. A purpose for all the craziness I find myself in.
At gathering we want to invite you to become who God created you to be. Simple? Hardly. This is a life-long pursuit. We want you to join with us, as we seek to find out all that it means.
Each of us has a unique purpose from God. However, there are some things we all share. We were made to worship. There is something inside of us calling us to find something to worship. Look around. We worship athletes, celebrities, money, etc. Could it be this comes from somewhere deep inside of us? We think so. God created us to worship him.
We were made to be in relationship. Around gathering (and this blog) you will hear us talking about groups. When we spend time with other people thinking or just eating we begin to change. We begin to see ourselves differently and understand God better.
We also believe we were made to take action. Is everything right in the world? It is easy to see that it is not. How about in the city/town where you live? A little bit harder to see, but there are still some things that don’t seem right. Now look out your window. How about the street where you live? At gathering we think it is time to do something. We are made to change the world.
